Thankful: November 2017

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday full of love and delicious food.

This year, I am so very thankful to my family. I am the owner of my very own vintage shop, a real dream come true, and I couldn’t have done it without them.

There was the emotional support, which was constant and enduring. Then there was the physical labor, which was quite a bit!

Thank you to my Mom who drove me around and around.

For a former New Yorker who doesn’t drive yet, this was everything. She also organized much of the grand opening with flair and style.

Thank you to my step-Father, Nacho, who did the hard labor and construction. He pulled out all the pipes of this former salon, among many other things. Incredible!

Thank you to my Dad who made sure my walls looked perfect.

Thank you to my Uncle Cheo who patched and painted holes in this old building.

Thank you to my Uncle David who helped get my couch there.

Thank you to my Grandma who helped in a million small ways I can’t count.

Thank you to my mom’s cousins, Stella and Robert, who stopped by to visit and help.

Lastly, a huge thank you to my mom’s cousin, David, who took on the biggest projects in the store. Together, we made the store what it is.

I am certainly blessed and with my 30th birthday around the corner, I’m excited to see where this new career takes me!
